Hello. I would like to inform you about the condolence letter from Jinmyung Girls' High School, which was written on December 30, 2021 and has been a controversy in Korea from January 11, 2022.
The above incident started with a photo posted on Twitter by a student at Jinmyung Girls' High School (진명 여자 고등학교) on December 30th.
The content of the above evidence screen was a letter containing mockery of the soldier, such as 'There will be a lot of hard work ahead, but you have to be patient', 'I am annoyed at participating in events like this', and ‘try your hardest in clearing snow’.
Also, a letter written by a student at the same school was released on the same day, and the expression 'pick up the soap', an expression of sexual harassment related to same-sex rape, and the expression of eating shine muskets in the military was used, but this expression is used as a slang word to mean that soldiers are treated excessively well (unlike the reality of the Korean Armed Forces of course) on the Korean women's camp site.
Both letters must have been letters that insulted and ridiculed the Korean soldiers who are performing their duty of one year and six months while receiving poor treatment due to their national defense obligations.
Despite these two letters sexually harassing and insulting the South Korean military, in the radical feminist camp, which is a mainstream feminist group in Korea are insisting that: the victims of this case, the South Korean military servicemen, are cases of violation of the sexual flag specified in the code of conduct for living in the barracks. The feminists insist that the soldiers sent condoms that could not be purchased in the military and could not be sent as a parcel outside due to inspection at the military post office even if they were attached as parcels. False facts that have not even been reported in the media are being spread based on the claims of people around them or individuals, and anonymous conversations with unknown sources.
There were also claims that female students were forced to write these consolation letters, which was also clearly false. In fact, they volunteered to write them.
However, they claim that they wrote a consolation letter forcibly, and that they resisted by writing such a letter because of the rumors above. They are putting all the blame on the school, the Office of Education, and the Republic of Korea Armed Forces that recruited people to write the letter of consolation, rather than the two perpetrators.
Even the word of accusing the soldier who took the picture is coming from the era of women in the large Internet community with TERF tendencies.
The two students who wrote the letter, the reporters who read this, and also me, who is writing this article can sleep in peace today all because of the soldiers’ dedication. I would like to ask you to report on the behavior of two students who ignore and insult the hard work of the Korean soldiers, and the radical feminism that defames the Korean military by defending the perpetrators and spreading rumors just because the conscripted soldiers are men.
