Hi dear,

Good evening.

I's Tracy from Red Win Optics. Here is a full video of how to cut the power wire of RWD3A & assemble it back.

When use fusing instead of using scissors to cut wires,t his method can avoid insufficient wire length during welding.

Here are the steps for your reference

1.Unscrew the screw of mount base.

2. Unscrew the elevation adjuster till  the body of the red dot can be loosened.

3. Unscrew the windage adjuster till  the body of the red dot can be removed.

4.Try step 2 & 3 again if you still can not remove the mount base.

5. Cut the wire.

How to assemble it back?

1. Welding the wire. When you find that the length of the wire is not enough, please remove the wire in the slot, first complete the welding work, and then use 502 glue to fix the wire again.

2.Screw the elevation adjuster til the body of the red dot can fit well on the mount base.

3.Screw the windage adjuster till the body of the red dot can fit well on the mount base. (Oh don't miss to install the spring of the windage adjuster)

4.Try step 2 & 3 again if you still can not install the mount base well.

The below is a full video for your reference. Enjoy it. ;)
